Laura L. Gillman, a long-time resident of Gainesville, received her B.S. in Accounting from the University of Florida in 1990. In 1995, she completed her Master of Accounting, with an emphasis in taxation. She is licensed as a C.P.A. in the State of Florida and is a member of both the A.LC.P.A. and F.I.C.P.A. Laura became a member in 1999 and is currently our managing member.

Laura’s areas of expertise include real estate development, like-kind exchanges, multi-state tax issues and family succession planning. She has extensive experience with the U.S. Taxation of Foreign Individuals and Corporations, including domestication of foreign corporations and U.S. Estate Tax issues facing foreign individuals.

Laura plays an active role in the community. She has served as President of The Junior League of Gainesville, Chair of the Women’s Giving Circle, a board member of the Gainesville Jaycees and a board member of PACE Center for Girls. Laura has also completed Leadership Gainesville XXV.

Laura is currently a board member of The Early Learning Coalition of Alachua County.

Kristen M. Lovano received both her B.S. in Accounting and her Master of Accounting from the University of Florida in 2000 and 2001, respectively. Kristen began her career with Austin, Gillman & Lovano, P.L.L.C. as an intern. Upon receiving her C.P.A. license from the State of Florida in 2001, she joined the firm full-time as a professional tax consultant. She became a partner in 2016.

Kristen’s areas of expertise include estates and trusts, tax planning and fiduciary accounting. She has experience with IRS audits of estates utilizing family limited partnerships, Qualified Personal Residence Trusts (QPRT’s) and family succession planning. She also works with corporate and individual clients that have multi-state and multi-generational tax issues. Kristen is a member of the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Kristen is the current Treasurer of Girls on the Run of Alachua County, a Member of the Women's Giving Circle of North Central Florida and Graduate of the Gainesville Area Chamber of Commerce Leadership Gainesville Class #41. She is also the former Treasurer of the Gainesville Ronald McDonald House.

Landon E. Oliphant received his B.S. in Accounting from University of Florida in 2015 and his Master of Accounting from the University of Central Florida in 2016. Landon joined Austin, Gillman & Lovano, P.L.L.C. as a full-time professional tax consultant in September of 2016 and received his C.P.A. license from the State of Florida in October of 2017.

Prior to joining Austin, Gillman & Lovano, P.L.L.C, Landon worked at Lockheed Martin on auditing purchase orders and did statistical analysis and academic research for the University of Florida Scholars Program.

Landon’s areas of expertise include tax planning and individual tax issues.
